DON SHULA was the most winningest head coach in NFL history, with 347 career victories, and 328 regular season victories, as head coach of the Miami Dolphins.
He guided the Miami Dolphins to five Super Bowls and won a record 347 games. He coached the Dolphins to the league’s only undefeated season in 1972, (17-0)
Shula coached three Hall of Fame legendary quarterbacks: Johnny Unitas, Bob Griese and Dan Marino.

As the patriarch of the Miami Dolphins for 50 years, Shula brought the winning edge to the Dolphins and put the city of Miami on the national sports scene. During his 26 seasons in Miami, he became an institution. His name adorns an expressway, an athletic club and a steakhouse chain.
He, George Halas and Bill Belichick are the only coaches in NFL history to win more than 300 games.
Shula was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1997.
